Choose apps to block
- Open ReppUp and continue through setup.
- Allow Screen Time access when iOS asks.
- Choose individual apps in Apple’s picker. ReppUp does not currently block whole categories or websites.
- Review the number of blocked apps, movement mix, daily rep goal, and unlock allowance.
- Select Start ReppUp.
Your list stays in Apple’s local Screen Time storage. ReppUp does not add the app names to your account.
A chosen app does not show the shield
- Open ReppUp → Settings and confirm app blocking is on.
- Open Blocked apps and confirm the app is still selected.
- Check iPhone Settings for ReppUp’s Screen Time permission.
- Switch blocking off, then on again to refresh the list.
- Restart ReppUp and try the app again.
If Screen Time permission was removed, ReppUp cannot restore the shields until you allow access again.
The shield cannot open ReppUp directly
Direct opening depends on your iOS version and the SDK used to build ReppUp. If it is unavailable, close the shield and launch ReppUp from the Home Screen. The app you tried to open should remain ready for a challenge.
Understand unlock time and re-blocking
A completed set unlocks the app that started the challenge. Your other chosen apps stay blocked. The allowance tracks use of the unlocked app, not time spent elsewhere.
Apple schedules system callbacks, so re-blocking may not happen at the exact second your allowance ends. If access becomes stale, open ReppUp so it can refresh the current state.
Turn app blocking off
Open ReppUp → Settings and switch app blocking off. Use this whenever exercise is unsafe, the camera is unavailable, or you simply need the block removed.
